Dear land of mine underneath a starry sky
so close to God where peace and love reign forever
up in the clouds float her breast that heave and sigh
her golden crown dazzles the mist in the air
This is Benguet rose of the northern mountain
may God keep her safe and forever free
land of the brave where no evil foot could wonder
hail to thee! Province of Benguet...
My own
Benguet became the very first provincial government to be established in the Philippines, a year earlier than the inauguration of the civil government of the Philippines, when it was established by the Philippine Commission on November 23, 1900 through Act No. 49 with Baguio as its Capital.

HEART BAGUIO/BURNHAM advocates sit it out and do weekly bonfire vigils at the Pine Trees of The World Park (back of Athletic Bowl) for more than a month now. Journalists and musicians and concerned groups and individuals gather to protest the killing of the trees and the park as well as preserve the use of the same for the people of Baguio City.
