The rain poured endlessly with the pain of it all. The denizens of the skies crying in silent unison as the country bashed its head against the rocky walls of misery and oblivion. The soft ticking of the clock on St. Peter’s gate becoming grossly noisy heard on land. The wind howled, the oceans crashed, the skies opened in disbelief over the slow destruction of this once tiny land that could have been paradise lost. Struck with the blunt blade of indifference and greed and infamy, it bleeds on all sides. LUZON was lying on her stomach, her head bashed in and incorrigible. VISAYAS has her limbs scattered across the shores of her beaches and MINDANAO is hanging upside down from the ankles. The sisters tortured by the very people they protect and cuddled for centuries.

The clock ticks with time and the hourglass almost exhausted of sand. With the changing of the seasons, is the changing of people, of lifestyles, of trends, of nature and of climate. The last two, nature and climate are the most we would not want changed in so fast a pace. Studies and actual observations are alarming to the extent of changes happening now, reasons ranging from domestic, commercial and agricultural expansions to pollutions and other natural factors. Changes are inevitable and a welcome phase in everything in this world, but when the changes are from mostly bad to worse and worst, then it is nothing to be happy about.

The search for the perfect beverage often starts with man’s quest for the perfect amenities related with relaxation. Since the days when man first evolved to a perfect being and started toiling for food in between the sleeps and other simple activities, he has also started the dawn of “living in a complicated world”. Man soon learned to dress up in plant materials or animal hides and discovered that food seared in fire more often tasted much better than when it is raw. Tools were forged from crude stones and flint started fires. Shelters from caves to rudely put up sticks and straws made up a home. Throughout the eons, man invented things in quest of the better state of being of everything. All of these works to be rewarded with a few moments of rest and relaxation. In everyone’s term relaxation also twins with satisfaction.
Ifugao became the center of warfare in the Philippines towards the end of World War II when Gen. Yamashita, the Tiger of Malaya, decided to put up his last stand in Mt.Napulawan and later on surrendered informally in Kiangan, Ifugao to the Fil-Am forces
